So I went to a couple rag houses today in Toronto with my friends @Dirtroadthrift aka Bryan and @Corndog2k aka Cory. A rag house is a warehouse that gets bails of clothes from all over the world and they cut them up into tiny little rags for construction sites and other things. We are allowed to go inside and pick through the bails and piles of clothes to look for vintage items. the workers sort the clothes and put them into separate piles so it’s easier to look through. The rag house is definitely the best place to find crazy vintage clothes.
These are some of the items I found today.
This was the worst time I’ve ever had at the rags. Only found 5 decent things the whole day because there were four of us that went. Both pairs of dickies are for me and the three t-shirts I’m going to sell to Dugout Vintage. I’ve been looking for a dark green pair of dickies for moths now and I finally found a pair so it made my trip worth it.
