Goodwill Bins

So, the Goodwill Outlet store is very different from a regular Goodwill. They bring out big bins filled with anything from clothes and shoes to home goods and electronics. Because of the big bins everyone refers to them as “the bins.” There used to be a bunch of them all around Canada but they have all closed except for this one in London.

The vintage community in Ontario loves to go to the bins because of the price by pound system and also you never know what you are going to find. Everyone in the Vintage community meets up at the bins just to talk, hangout and look for more clothes to sell or keep.

All the people in the vintage community are very friendly and helpful. We all did not know each other at first but once you meet them at the bins or through vintage they become life long friends. My first day at Fanshawe I didn’t know anyone but i saw that Max was wearing a vintage shirt and we started talking about it, then we became good friends.
